Issue:

Canadian security keys programmed with the wrong coin default settings

.

Games affected:

Only Canadian games with FORCE 2003 (SA3059-33R00) and Ruby
(SA3056-33R00) security keys are affected.  All other FORCE 2003 and
Ruby games are not affected.

Symptoms:

The same number of credits are given for all coins that are deposited.

Solution:

The temporary solution is to manually change the Coin-In Menu to the
correct settings.  This will allow the coin inputs to register correctly. To
manually reset the coin-in menu to the correct settings, follow the
instructions below.  NOTE:  If a 2-button clear is performed, the settings
will default back to the original (incorrect) programming of the key.

To permanently correct the problem, the key will need to be exchanged
with a replacement key with the correct settings.  The original key with
the incorrect settings will ultimately need to be returned to Distributors.
Operators should contact their Distributor for their replacement key.

To manually reset the Coin-In Menu:

1.

Press the SETUP button in side the game.

2.

Touch the "Credits" icon on the MAIN MENU.

3.

Touch the "Coin-In" icon on the CREDITS MENU.

4.

Use the arrows to the left and right of the fields to restore the menu to the following:

After entering in the correct values, touch the "x" icon in the upper right-hand corner to exit the set-up
screens, then touch the "YES" icon to confirm that you want to exit.

To ensure proper operation, drop coins into the game and make sure they register correctly.
